Is your track routed properly? Make sure the input matches the physical input that you are using and the output matches the physical output you are using on your interface.

If your interface requires a driver, it is important that you install a compatible version. That information will likely be found on the product page. If you’re not sure if your interface requires a driver, you can always visit the website of your interface’s manufacturer. Some interfaces are “class-compliant,” meaning they are designed to work on any system without a driver. Drivers are what allow your interface to talk to your computer and, ultimately, Pro Tools.
